Rumor: Darkstalkers 4 in the works, Yoshinori Ono presiding

Capcom is reviving , revamping and repackaging fighting games almost faster than we can keep track of them but, if the latest rumor is correct, yet another series is set for a comeback. Specifically, DarkStalkers 4 is allegedly in the works, with Capcom’s fighting guru Yoshinori Ono heading up the proceedings, according to a source at GamesBeat . The game will reportedly run on a modified version of the Street Fighter X Tekken engine.

Street Fighter X Tekken out on Vita this fall with 12 more characters

The Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken will be the most populous of all. In addition to the PS3/Vita-exclusive Pac-Man, Mega Man , Cole, Toro, and Kuro, Capcom announced twelve extra characters on Vita as part of its Street Fighter 25th Anniversary celebration.

Rumor: Grin Barcelona worked on Strider, Streets of Rage games

Anait Games published correspondence from an anonymous former employee of GRIN’s Barcelona studio, which closed unceremoniously before the main studio did in 2009 . The anonymous party went on to identify two projects that were in the works before the closure: an update of Capcom’s Strider and a Streets of Rage game. The Strider game had 3D models and concept art, and even a teaser video — which you can see above.
